Roy was born in the Swedish neighborhood of  Brooklyn, New York. After moving to Dallas in 1977, he attended North Texas State University(currently the University of North Texas) where he received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.    

Roy is the proud father of Haley, Avery, and Wyatt. He spends his free time riding with his wife Gail on his motorcycle through the hill country, camping with his kids, playing a semi-regular poker game, and enjoying Dallas Stars hockey.  In 1984, Roy began recruiting and twelve years later, left his former company and opened Oberg and Associates with the goal of becoming the dominant recruiting resource in the North American Corrugated Packaging Industry.

Teresa grew up on the northern outskirts of the DFW area in Flower Mound, TX, and attended Texas A&M University. At A&M, Teresa studied Early Childhood Education and graduated with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies. Teresa then went on to teach and work as an administrator in Houston, TX, and Shreveport, LA before returning to Flower Mound.   

Teresa has one daughter, Ellie, and spends her free time watching Guardians of the Galaxy and exploring national and state parks.  

At Oberg and Associates, LLC, Teresa uses her substantial experience in administration and HR to help the top talent in the Corrugated Industry find the right fit.

Renee was raised in the Dallas suburb of Allen, TX, and attended the University of North Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising in 2013 and returned to pursue her Master of Science in Merchandising in 2020, which she achieved in 2022. Renee decided to make a career change after nearly two decades in the fashion industry during her last semester of grad school when she fell in love with her courses in business and HR.

In her spare time, Renee enjoys performing Improv, reading Stephen King novels, seeing live music, and spending time at home with her two cats.

 Matthew is a Texas native. Born in Lubbock, he has lived in the DFW since 2000. He attended the University of Texas at Arlington where he graduated with a BA in Political Science and German Minor. However, it wasn’t until after he graduated that he discovered he enjoyed meeting new people and helping others reach new opportunities. Because of this Oberg and Associates and the world of recruiting fit him perfectly.

In his free time, Matthew enjoys exercising, staying active, travelling, and exploring Dallas.

Carolina grew up in Queretaro, Mexico, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management

from Tec Milenio University in 2019.

Carolina is currently pursuing her MBA and that's the reason why she decided to pursue a career in HR and recruitment. Before joining Oberg and Associates, she was enrolled in the Au Pair program for 2 years in North Carolina.

In her spare time, Carolina enjoys traveling, working out, reading novels, watching TV series, and spending quality time with her boyfriend.

Richard grew up in a suburb of Phoenix, AZ, and attended Arizona State University, where he studied Economics and Political Science. Richard spent the first 4 years of his professional career in Health and Life Insurance before finding his passion in Executive Search in 2014. Richard is a natural problem solver that attributes his success to thinking outside of the box to create Win-Win scenarios for his Clients and Candidates.

Richard is the proud father of Connor and Bebe. He spends his free time coaching football, at the shooting range, reading, rooting for the Detroit Lions, and spending time with his Children and his Fiancé Catie.
